We offer a one of a kind service in the United Kingdom, providing fun and exciting table tennis coaching to schools all over the London area.
We know how important it is to keep kids entertained while they’re learning, and we think table tennis is the perfect mix of the two. Research has shown it can improve coordination, mental alertness and tactical thinking, all skills which are as useful in the classroom as on the ping pong table.
Our coaching can be provided on a curriculum or non-curriculum basis, depending on your school’s individual learning plan and any time or space issues.
We have made sure our knowledge and teaching of table tennis coincides with the national curriculum, meaning the services we offer can directly contribute to the academic records of your students. The skills which children develop by playing table tennis will help them with their other PE games, as well as with their normal learning. We particularly enjoy supporting PE teachers in the lead up to student’s GCSE courses, and we know a set of fresh faces with particular expertise can do wonders for childrens’ enthusiasm and concentration.
Breakfast club – which runs between 7:30am and 9:00am, offers children an exciting and enjoyable way to blow out the cobwebs and get mentally and physically ready for the day ahead.
Lunchtime club – depending on hall space, our lunchtime clubs are a great way to keep a majority of the children occupied during their midday break, and help to prevent students getting into any mischief or trouble.
After school club – after a hard day of hitting the books, our after school club offers students a great way to relax with their friends in a safe environment. Whether they prefer a relaxed session or a structured tournament, our DBS checked and UKCC qualified staff will be happy to supervise and help students with any problems.
We also do our best to set up inter-school tournaments to nurture children’s natural competitive nature and their enjoyment of the game, so why not contact us to see if anything is already going on in your area?
Focus Table Tennis provide us at KCS with inspirational coaches. Their contagious enthusiasm & dedication has dramatically increased the prominence of table tennis at the school which has been exciting especially for our "less sporty" kids. FTT have a great vision for the development of table tennis in schools.

I have to say a HUGE thank you on behalf of everyone here – we had a great time on Monday night and it was in no small part down to you and your fantastic organisation. It was great to have the demonstration from your guys (they definitely put us all to shame) and I thought the format of the night worked really well. The feedback here has been really positive and I will pass on your details to other members of staff who may be interested in using your services.

Zahara loved it! She had a really fun time – and was proud of her certificate saying she came 15th in the tournament ( I didn’t tell her how many were enrolled!) And she got a prize for having improved so much so she was thrilled. In fact I wanted to let you know that I thought the coaches were superb. I met Olav on the first day and I thought his style was really just perfect for the kids – very happy and positive and I could see my daughter really responded to him.

Focus Table Tennis have delivered our network table tennis tournament for the past three years. We have been very happy with the service provided and the professionalism of their staff. Our students have particularly enjoyed the master-classes with the likes of Gavin Rumgay and Darius Knight that have been organised for us by the Focus team.

Many thanks for giving my son, Alexander such a fabulous time at your table tennis course earlier this week at Donhead School. He had a really great time and came out brimming with enthusiasm, much more than I ever expected. So a big thank you ! Happy Christmas to you all,
Alexander's mum, Mum,
I just wanted to drop you a short note, on behalf of SportsAid, to thank you and your athletes for organising such a fantastic demonstration on Thursday. Guests I spoke to loved the power and technique of the players and were captivated to see the action up close! They also loved being able to have a go afterwards too! Thank you again for helping to make the SportsBall such a fantastic success!
